Plus, I got an e-mail from a man who knew the doctor when he was in high school with the man’s nephews. He says that Wameeth is neither a jihadist or terrorist and that his wife does not wear the burka. He also says that

the odds it was an unmotivated, impersonal, random shooting are zero.

It looks like our assumptions were wrong.
