My hero.

This thoroughly disgusts me. No, not what Jim Webb wrote in his books. I am disgusted with George Allan’s campaign.

I have read every single one of Jim Webb’s books. My favorites are Born Fighting and A Country Such A This. They are gritty and realistic and manly—-they are NOT pornograpy or a glorification of perversion as Allan’s campaign would have you believe.

I had trouble with Fields of Fire because it was written in manly talk (I don’t know how else to describe it). It reminded me of going to lunch with a bunch of guys who talk about sports and cars.

I would prefer that the sex scenes in his book all involve marriage or be a little more romantic—but I think that Webb was writing for men. He is an expert on Vietnamese culture and has been going back there for decades. The, so called underage “sex” scene, is tied to culture—not sex as I understand it.

Jim Webb is too darn liberal on abortion and domestic issues—but I think that he has a lot more integrity than Allan and this just proves it to me. He is too good for the Democrats! I’m going to give him some more money.

(I would like the “macaca” hangers-on to his campaign to shut up! They are lunatics!)

And that silly, painfully long movie made about him during the 1980’s. Written by a man who could write even better than Mark Steyn.
